Download the Last Version of Mojave for iOS

Apple has released a series of updates for macOS Mojave 10.14.6, addressing issues related to the Safari 14 update and Security Update 2020-005. The updates aim to resolve vulnerabilities and performance problems that had been reported by users.

When the official builds were released for both Safari and Security Update 2020-005, I had already installed the Safari seed 14.0.1, which meant I only received a security update. Later, I enrolled in DeveloperSeed and obtained beta 2020-005 and Safari 14.0.1 seed. At some point, I installed the Safari 14 seed, which was prior to the official 2020-005 update.

The updates are designed to address problems that had arisen from the original releases. Apple has released a Supplemental Update for macOS Mojave 10.14.6, which contains Safari 14 and its fixes. This update resolves an issue that could impair performance, as well as stability issues with Migration Assistant and problems creating new user accounts.

If you have installed both earlier updates, you will receive only the Supplemental Update. If you haven't installed either Safari 14 or Security Update 2020-005, you should receive both the Supplemental Update and the revised Security Update 2020-005. Users are recommended to check which updates Software Update recommends for their Macs to determine which installer to download and run.

The new version of Mojave Security Update 2020-005 addresses the vulnerabilities that the previous update had attempted to address, but without any adverse side effects. Currently, Apple has not released these updates as standalone updates. However, users can expect to see improved performance and stability with the latest updates.
